Our Lesson Program

Our lesson program is perfect for anyone of any age that is wanting to advance their knowledge of horsemanship from the ground up!

Lesson Information:

  • Your lesson will last about an hour (+/-) and is weather dependent (lesson will be on unless it is raining more than a sprinkle, snowing, icing, sleeting, excessive winds, etc).
  • We ask that you arrive on time for your lesson and wear proper attire (jeans, riding boots, helmet at your discretion).
  • Please feel free to bring a water as we don't have any on hand.
  • We provide everything else you may need for your lesson (horse, tack, etc) unless you have previously arranged with me to haul in your own horse.
  • You will be asked to sign release forms before taking lessons (medical release, liability release, photo/video release etc).

Topics we will cover:

  • Your lesson will be tailored to your skill level. Once you have mastered each step, we move on to the next.
  • Things we may go over will include (but not limited to); catching and haltering, leading, tying, grooming, tacking, proper equipment and fit, horse and tack terms, groundwork, communicating with your horse using proper body language and cues, and then riding (and all that entails!).

Prices & Scheduling:

  • Prices are subject to change, so please confirm current pricing with me.
  • Lessons are $50/ea or $45/ea if two or more siblings are riding together.
  • Current payment options are cash or check and must be paid day of lesson.
  • Most students attend lessons weekly, but you are more than welcome to come as often or as little as you please as time allows.
  • My schedule is constantly changing around my kid's sports and my own competition and work schedule so please reach out to me Sundays for the following week to get on my schedule.

If you would like to get started, or if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me via call or text @ 254-479-0098. I do not check my emails or my social media messages very often, so call or text is always preferred to best reach me.

I look forward to working with you!
